When to Call an Emergency Electrician
Contact RS Electrical immediately if you have:

- Sparking or crackling sounds
- Hot power points or discoloured outlets
- Lights flickering or dimming unexpectedly
- Water damage affecting electrical circuits
- Exposed or damaged wiring
- Electric shocks or tingles from appliances or taps
If there is an immediate risk of fire or severe danger, turn power off at the main switch (if safe to do so) and call an electrician.
What to Do Before We Arrive
For safety, you can do these quick checks:
- Turn off the affected circuit at the switchboard (if safe)
- Unplug any appliances on the tripping circuit
- If there’s a burning smell or smoke, turn off the main switch immediately
- Keep people away from the affected area
- If you suspect water involvement, do not touch wet switches or appliances
